The process of Alkaline Water Ionizer Erom Zion¢â is that from tap water it goes through seven steps of filtering via two filters and afterwards electrolyzes in an electrolytic bath. a. Calcium sulphite : Calcium sulphite contained filter a ball-type with 1mm diameter catches chlorine, organics and dissolves them from water. Also this removes odor and bad taste from the water.
b. Granular activated carbon : Filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) removes certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine. This granular activated carbon is made from palm tree that are high heat to activate the surface area of the carbon. This is famously known to keep stable and superior taste
c. Silver-impregnated activated carbon : While activated carbon is effective at removing many undesirable chemicals and other substances from water, bacteria has been known to grow in activated carbon filters that hold moisture. For this reason, most activated carbon found in water filters is "silver impregnated" or "silver activated" or "silver added." Silver, when added to activated carbon filters, kills bacteria and prevents their growth. It is recommended that activated carbon filters be changed at least every 12 months regardless of the level of liter usage to ensure continued effective filtration for bacteria and prevention of bacterial growth within the filter.
