ANTIBACTERIAL
PRE-FILTER Large particles of dust and hair from pets are filtered at this stage.

HEPA Filter
Airborne dust, acarus, and mold that are larger than 0.3 micrometer are filtered up to 99.97% by the HEPA filter.

CARBON FILTER
Carbon filter removes tobacco smokes, smells of food, and most odors by breaking down the compound molecules and by deodorization.

SILVER NANO
Filter SN Filter coated with fine nanometer-size silver particles has powerful sterilizing function. It removes infectious germs, odors and cancer-causing agents that were not entirely filtered in the previous stages. Allergents and virus are also removed and destroyed.

CATALYST Filter This filter performs oxidation and reduction. Titanium Dioxide(TiO2), a photocatalyst agent, absorbs R ~ UV lights, and generates hydroxyl radical(OH) and oxygen ion(O,-). The OH and O,- adhere to cell walls of the bacteria, and oxidizes/dissolves the bacteria cells completely. Most of the infectious germs and bacteria such as MRSA and 0-157 are sterilized.

SYSTEM Equipped with four 25-watt UV lamps, harmful agents like escherichia coli communis, influenza, vibrio comma-cholera, staphylococcus and mycobacterium tuberculosis and sterilized by 253.7nm UV rays, which is the most ideal wave length of light for sterilization.

What is negative ion?
Ion is a small particle that has an electric charge. If it has a (+)positive charge, it is a positive ion. With a (-)negative charge it is a negative ion.
